How do I pause a NuCalm track?Updated 5 days ago
We understand that situations may arise where you would want the ability to pause your NuCalm Rescue, PowerNap, FlowState, DeepestSleep, DeepestSleep+, Focus, or Ignite session and then resume it at some point. However, we only enable restarting a session instead of resuming a session.
Our neuroacoustic software is an intricate and complex math-based formula of sophisticated algorithms, vibrational instrumentations, binaural signal processing, and ancient musical scales. The brain is the most intelligent entity on the planet, and to reliably and predictably guide it to the desired brain wave frequency; we need to use the most sophisticated process possible.
Each of the NuCalm Rescue, PowerNap, and FlowState sessions features a "down ramp" to Alpha-Theta and an "up ramp" back to Beta at the end of the session. In the middle of the session, you are transcending and hovering within the Alpha and Theta zones. The longer the track, the longer you spend in the middle of the session so you can rest and restore.
For example, we recommend selecting one Rescue 50-minute track instead of stacking 2 Rescue 30 sessions. If you stack 2 Rescue sessions, then you will experience the "down ramp" twice, the "up ramp" twice, and less time in Theta. While there are days you may only have 20 minutes, choose the longest session you can to experience the maximum effect!
Please listen to each Ignite track in its entirety as the guidance to Gamma brain waves is in the last few minutes only.
While Focus includes a consistent formula of guidance to Beta, we kept the app functionality the same and do not allow for track pausing.
Please select either a DeepestSleep or DeepestSleep+ track. Restart DeepestSleep+ if you would like the initial Rescue 20 to replay to help you wind down. Learn more about the differences between the NuCalm Sleep Products.
