If your CES device is malfunctioning, try these troubleshooting steps:
If you have a CES device with a screen that shows 180 minutes:
Turn the unit on, select your current output with up/down arrows and press START/STOP to start, the 180-minute timer should countdown. If the timer is stopping or turning off at any time, try pressing START again.
If you have a CES device with screen 120-minute countdown:
Turn the device ON and do not press START/STOP right away. The timer should start counting down from 120 minutes on its own. If the timer is stopping or turning off at any time, press START/STOP again.
Any version of CES device:
If it shuts off after a short period of time, check the battery connection is tight - the metal bar can be adjusted with your finger and or the snap-in connections can be pushed together harder.
Make sure you are using a 9V battery with a high power output (600mAh) as these are recommended for medical devices.
